I want to welcome everyone to our new website and to the resources that we have put together as a service to help those who visit our website. We hope individuals can find information that they may need as well as resources in the Memphis area for families. Germantown Psychological Associates, P.C. has been working in the community to provide the highest quality care to our patients. We have seven full time clinicians in addition to a medical consultant who together, make up a dynamic practice with an incredible amount of experience. We are constantly growing and working hard to provide the very best treatment for our patients. Take some time to look through our website. Should you desire to see one our clinicians, take a look through their bios and look at the experience and expertise that best fits your needs. That, or call our Intake Line [901-755-5802] and one of our staff will guide you to the clinician that best meets your needs. In the event that you are just “looking around” right now, please take some time to explore the Resources tab for a connection to more than 60 different websites on a number of varied topics ranging from internet safety and cyber bullying, to Family/Parenting/Child Development, to substance abuse and addiction. Another area that we are very excited about is under the tab Local Memphis. Memphis is full of many wonderful places to visit and experience. However, we often hear comments that indicate that a number of families are unaware of what there is to do in Memphis. With over eighty suggestions [and more to come], you can start today. An area that we don’t have completed yet will be of interest to those who are avid readers. We are compiling a booklist that will provide resources in a wide variety of areas that we think people will want more information on. Should you have any comments or suggestions with regard to our new website, please take the opportunity to write our WebMaster a note. Please send any communications to: WebMaster – GPA, PC, 7516 Enterprise Ave, Suite 1, Germantown, TN 38138. Once again, thank you for visiting our website. WE ARE SEEING PATIENTS VIA TELEHEALTH - NEW PATIENTS AND CURRENT PATIENTS
YES – we are working during this time with our patients through Telehealth. This has been working well with almost all of our patients. We also want to let you know that we are taking NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS for patients appropriate for Telehealth. If you are a current or previous patient wanting a new appointment with your clinician or a NEW PATIENT and want an appointment with one of our clinicians, please call the Front Office at: 901-755-5802 and speak to one of the Front Office Staff about your needs. We will do our very best to help you.
Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic, in conjunction with our need to continue to take care of our patients, we have spent many hours preparing in March to transition patient care solely over to Telehealth. For those who have not experienced Telehealth, it is similar to video conferencing, only we use a HIPAA Compliant program which encrypts all communication between therapist and patient. There is no extra cost to the patient for this. We have been in touch with most insurance companies we work with and they have agreed to cover the use of Telehealth during this difficult time. When you call our office, please have your insurance card available if you would like us to check your benefits for Telehealth coverage.
