Brian D. Bruijn, Ph.D.

Brian Bruijn, Ph.D. is a licensed Counseling Psychologist in Tennessee.  He recently joined the clinical staff at Germantown Psychological in the late spring of 2019 after completing a one year post-doctoral fellowship at the Cherokee Health Systems [APPIC listed].  Prior to that, Dr. Bruijn had completed his Ph.D. at the University of Memphis along with a health service psychology internship at Michigan State University Counseling and Psychiatry Services [APA accredited]. While in Michigan, he earned a certificate in Multicultural Counseling from MECCA.

 

Dr. Bruijn specializes in working primarily with older adolescents and adults who are dealing with trauma, identity concerns, life transitions, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Bruijn also provides psychological testing/assessment for adult ADHD.

 

Dr. Bruijn has had professional publications as well as numerous presentations at various professional conferences. He maintains memberships with the American Psychological Association and The Society for Counseling Psychology.
