Clinical Staff

Through the years, our clinical staff has grown from the original three psychologists to five Ph.D. Licensed Psychologists and one Licensed Clinical Social Worker. We also have a medical consultant who has worked with our staff over the last three decades, both in-hospital and outpatient.

In Honor and Memory of Dr. Joseph C. Angelillo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Joseph C. Angelillo (Joe). Joe has been an integral part of the GPA, PC clinical team and family since 1987. We will miss him greatly and know that the many individuals he has helped throughout his career will miss him as well. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Joseph C. Angelillo, Ph.D., MSCP is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Tennessee and Mississippi. He received his bachelor's degree from Villanova University, his Master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and his Doctorate from the University of North Texas. He specializes in adolescent and adult psychology, working with individuals and groups. Dr. Angelillo recently completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology through Fairleigh Dickinson University [2/2018].

Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorders, treatment of addictive disorders, gambling, and forensic services (custody, personal injury and workman's compensation, litigation evaluation, and consultation). With regard to forensic evaluations, his specialty lies in the domain of Criminal Adjudication and Civil Compensation.

He has performed evaluations for the Prosecution and the Defense. He has testified at the State and Federal Level in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Dr. Angelillo has published in the areas of depression and gambling, and has presented at regional, state, and national conferences. He is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, and is a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology in the American Board of Psychological Specialties. Dr. Angelillo has served as Chief of Psychological Services at Parkwood Hospital and Clinical Director of Adolescent Services with Charter Lakeside. 

Advanced training includes an Internship at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences and Certification in Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy from the Institute of Rational Living.
